Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the smooth flow of goods from receipt to dispatch. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
Duties
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all items are correctly selected and prepared for shipment.
- Operating a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
- Stocking shelves and maintaining an organised warehouse environment.
- Loading and unloading goods from lorries, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
- Assisting with shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential.
- Familiarity with picking and packing processes is advantageous.
- Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in stock management.
- A proactive approach to safety within the workplace.
