Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team at CLF DISTRIBUTION LTD. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse by managing the storage, movement, and dispatch of goods. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming goods
Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for dispatch
Ensure products are stored in the correct locations and labeled correctly
Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet jacks, forklifts – if licensed)
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
Conduct stock checks and report discrepancies
Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
Support other warehouse duties as required
Requirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (preferred but not essential)
Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility with working hours and willingness to do overtime when needed
Forklift licence (desirable, but training may be provided)
