MAIN DUTIES
- Tack or weld quarry plant components and assemblies, using mig welding equipment.
- Visually inspect welds to determine compliance with standards.
- Removes rough spots from work-piece, using portable grinder or scraper.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Analyse engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout.
- Read and interpret blueprints and working drawings.
- Operate overhead mechanical lifting.
- Good time keeping.
- Work hours:
Monday-Thursday 8.00 - 5.30
Friday 8.00 - 3.00
