Support Worker
Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support to individuals, particularly children, promoting their well-being and helping them achieve personal goals. This role requires a proactive approach to care, with a focus on developing and implementing personalised care plans tailored to each individual’s needs.
Key Duties
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, encouraging independence and self-sufficiency.
- Develop and maintain personalised care plans in partnership with clients and their families.
- Provide emotional support to enhance the well-being of those in your care.
- Engage with children through various activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Safely transport clients to appointments and community activities as required.
- Keep accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with team members about client progress.
- Use IT systems for documentation and reporting in line with organisational policies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience working with children or in a childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to develop and implement personalised care plans.
- Proficiency in IT for record keeping and reporting.
- A valid driving licence is preferred to support transportation needs.
- A compassionate and trustworthy approach to building relationships with clients.

Pay: £12.44-£13.50 per hour

Experience:
- Residential Childcare / Ofsted: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
