As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Your role will involve not only serving drinks and food but also engaging with customers to enhance their experience.
Responsibilities depending on applicant
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Engage with guests, providing excellent customer service and addressing any queries or concerns.
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient operation during busy periods.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed promptly during shifts.
- Taking orders, taking payments, setting tables, helping with events
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a passion for guest experience
- Previous restaurant or bar experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods efficiently.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a friendly rapport with customers.
- Friendly, confident personality
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
