In early 2024 we opened our own onsite Cheesemonger at d'Arry's and now after a year of success, we are looking to develop our front of house team further.
With the restaurant serving some of the country's best cheeses, the bar serving the award winning d'Arenberg wine range and our Liquor Loft bar offering fantastic cocktails, it's a very exciting place to work!
We are looking for a Waiting and Bar team member to support our existing team in all areas of the restaurant.
Among drink service and general waiting duties, including food service, order taking and cash/card handling you would also be expected to carry out and be responsible for -
- Liaise and work closely with all members of the team ensuring clear communication for the shift on bookings and menu availability
- Solve problems as they arise on shift and be able to use initiative
- Liaise at all times with management before, during and after service.
- Ensure the restaurant, bar and outside areas are being kept in a clean and tidy condition.
- Work in a positive manner to encourage a ‘Can Do’ attitude.
- Uphold the licencing objectives and ensure the licence of the premises is protected at all times.
- Maintain a good understanding and practice of Food Safety Regulations, including COSHH, Allergens, SFBB and FIFO
- Ensure Health and Safety and Food Safety Standards are maintained in line with company policy.
- Maintain a good understanding of the appropriate sections of the Licensing Law regarding the sale and service of alcohol
- Uphold the company's expectations and reputation of excellence.
- Support the senior manager in the day to day running of the restaurant.
- Remain customer focused at all times by being approachable and quick to exceed expectations in fulfilling customer needs.
- Abide by all company procedures and work instructions are fully understood and practised.
- Attend all health and safety training courses as required.
- Support management in the training and development of new staff.

Experience preferred but not necessary as full training will be given.
