Overview
Launching in September 2025, The Base is a new, values-led neighbourhood cafe in the heart of Barnes’ village. Expect hand shaped loaves, warm pastries, and neighborly connection coming together in a space full of charm and soul.
We are seeking experienced and people focused barista’s and waiters / waitresses who share our values to help shape and support this exciting, hospitality led concept, whilst building strong community relationships and contributing to an engaged, service focused team.
You Will:
- Build strong relationships with the local community, delivering authentic and hospitable service across barista bar and table service.
- Support the team by maintaining high standards across all customer touch points, working toward KPI’s and targets.
- Act with integrity, maintaining strong product knowledge and respect.
- Champion and take pride in delivering great service and helping others.
- Celebrate individuality and be curious about ways to grow, build, and constantly improve.
You have:
- 1 year of experience as a barista / waiter(ess) from a cafe, bakery, coffee shop, or restaurant.
- Excellent communication skills, and experience working in a fast paced environment.
- A passion for service and hospitality, and desire to learn and contribute to the broader team.
