Responsibilities

- Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and communication.
- Keep the dining area clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience in culinary or kitchen roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
