Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables.
• Assist with food preparation and maintain high standards of food safety.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive prompt service.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong background in hospitality.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments.
• Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance customer satisfaction.
