Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Waiter/Server to join our dynamic team. As a Waiter/Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that every dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting guests with any inquiries they may have. Your ability to manage time effectively and upsell menu items will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner.
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, ensuring high standards of culinary presentation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and processing transactions.
- A passion for culinary arts and food preparation is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on guest services and hospitality.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
