We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth administrative operations. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for all transactions.
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero to manage financial data effectively.
- Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy.
- Respond to inquiries from clients and vendors regarding account statuses and transactions.
- Support the finance team in various administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
