Do you want to gain valuable experience whilst providing crucial support and raising vital funds for a worthwhile charity? Volunteering with the fundraising team is a fun, flexible and varied role.
We are looking for volunteers local to the Yarmouth and/or Lowestoft area.
Various tasks include:
- Supporting the EACH fundraising team with activities and events across your area.
- Some evening volunteering
- Support EACH at busy and active events
- Running stalls, marshalling fun runs, assisting with collections.
- Collecting cheques and donations from supporters, thanking them for their support.
- Giving talks to local community groups, school etc about our work and how they can help.
- Helping with tasks and admin in the fundraising office.
- Managing collection pots for the charity.
- Helping to promote local fundraising events.
- Representing and promoting EACH to the public in a positive light to build awareness and support.
We ask that all fundraising volunteers are able to work well as part of a team as well as independently, are flexible, committed and reliable, can confidently speak/present publicly (if applicable), and work and interact with a variety of people.
No experience necessary, just a positive attitude and the willingness to learn.
