We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Veterinary Care Assistant to join our practice.
You will assist all colleagues with non-clinical duties to support smooth running of the practice and provide the best standard of patient care.

This is a full-time, position, working 8.30am – 6pm Monday to Friday.
You will need to have a Veterinary Care Assistant qualification for this position.
The Veterinary Care Assistant role is one of the foundations of an outstanding veterinary practice, as a VCA you would be involved in supporting our team of qualified RVNs and Vets to provide outstanding care to our patients, working alongside a lovely team of people. This role will involve animal handling, assisting vets and nurses in restraining animals for treatment, cleaning, walking, and feeding patients.
Alongside general cleaning and maintenance duties, and providing the highest standards of animal and customer care.
We are looking for someone who really cares about animals. Our ideal candidate will have had some experience with animals before, have excellent interpersonal skills and be a real team player and also has a Veterinary Care Assistant Qualification.
Main duties:
- Nursing care to patients
- Assisting vets and nurses in restraining animals for treatment
- Cleaning, walking, and feeding of patients.
- General cleaning and maintenance duties
- Running internal lab samples
- To provide a friendly, efficient, and effective service to clients
