Vehicle Spray Painter | M.A Bodyshop, Kirkcaldy
M.A Bodyshop is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Spray Painter to join our busy accident repair centre in Kirkcaldy, Fife.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, take pride in their work, and be capable of delivering consistently high-quality finishes on a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
You’ll be working as part of a friendly and professional team, carrying out everything from panel prep to full resprays
Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicle panels and surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
- Mix and match paint colours to manufacturer standards or for custom jobs
- Apply base coat, clear coat, and finishing products using spray equipment
- Carry out blending, polishing, and refinishing to ensure seamless colour transitions
- Conduct post-repair inspections and touch-ups as required
- Maintain spray booth cleanliness and equipment functionality
- Work closely with panel beaters and the management team to ensure efficient turnaround times
- Follow all health and safety procedures in the workshop
Experience & Requirements:
- Fully qualified with a strong track record of producing high-standard finishes
- Excellent colour-matching skills and experience with modern paint systems
- Familiarity with water-based and solvent-based paints
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and manage time effectively
- Must take pride in your work and maintain a clean, professional approach
