About the role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Painter to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who has a genuine passion for prestige vehicles and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
You will be responsible for carrying out preparation, painting, and finishing on a range of high-end vehicles, ensuring each job meets our exacting standards and exceeds customer expectations. You will work closely with our small, friendly team to ensure an efficient workflow while upholding our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
- Undertake preparation, painting, and refinishing work on a range of vehicles, including high-value and high-performance models.
- Mix and colour-match paints accurately using both water-based and solvent-based paint systems.
- Carry out masking, priming, sanding, and final finishing to a consistently high standard.
- Inspect vehicles and identify the correct repair methods for each job.
- Perform quality checks throughout the process to ensure flawless finishes.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with health and safety requirements.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining a meticulous approach to quality.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of workshop operations.
About you:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Painter, ideally working on prestige and high-end vehicles.
- Confident in all aspects of vehicle painting, refinishing, and colour matching.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering top-quality finishes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a bodyshop environment.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and professional in your approach to work.
- Pride in your work, with a genuine interest in the automotive industry and the vehicles you work on.
