What You’ll Be Doing:
- Producing clear, accurate estimates for servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and mechanical work.
- Liaising closely with technicians to ensure estimates reflect the actual scope of work required.
- Communicating with customers and the front-of-house team in a clear, honest, and professional manner about costs, options, and timeframes.
- Reviewing completed jobs against estimates to improve accuracy and continuously refine our quoting process.
- Supporting the service advisors and workshop team to ensure a seamless experience from booking through to collection.
- Helping drive workshop efficiency and profitability through precise costing and parts management.
- ⚙Sourcing quality OEM and genuine parts at competitive rates, placing orders, and monitoring delivery timelines.
- Coordinating with technicians to verify part accuracy prior to commencing work.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Minimum 3 years’ experience in a service advisor, estimator, costing, workshop controller, or parts advisor role—ideally in a high-performing independent or main dealer environment.
✔ Confident communicator who can balance empathy with professionalism.
✔ Problem-solving mindset — you can think quickly and find practical solutions
✔ Strong attention to detail and commitment to getting it right the first time.
✔ Sound technical understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repairs.
✔ Highly organised and efficient — you can manage multiple estimates and priorities at once.
✔ Commercially aware — able to balance customer experience with operational efficiency.
✔ Familiarity with estimating and workshop management software is a bonus, but not essential.

- £30,000 basic salary + uncapped bonus — with a realistic OTE of £36,000.
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:30 pm — no weekends!
- 33 days holiday (including 8 Bank Holidays).
- Christmas shutdown — we close between Christmas and the New Year to ensure everyone has the chance to switch off, enjoy the holiday season and come back refreshed.
