We are seeking a reliable and experienced 3.5T Van Driver, Monday-Friday (Night shift: 4 days on 4 days off ) to join our team near Heathrow. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. If you have a valid driver's license, excellent driving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, we encourage you to apply.
Salary from £33,800
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a van to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo from the van
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Inspect the van for any mechanical issues before and after each trip
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse environment is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team
Additional Checks required to work within Aviation industry
- Be able to provide 5 years address history
- Be able to provide 5 year reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
- DBS / CRC Check
- Airside Application to obtain full airside ID
- Full Manual Driving Licence
