TRUEfoods Manufacture a diverse range of chilled, high quality food products for a vast customer base across the UK and further afield. In order to maintain our excellent level of customer service we are currently looking for a delivery van driver to join the team.
Contracted hours can be flexible, we are looking for 30 hours per week, the delivery driver will be responsible for ensuring products arrive with the customer within the agreed time slots whilst ensuring health and safety and road legislation is adhered to at all times. You will be responsible for completing paperwork in relation to product temperatures and delivery schedules, carrying out general safety checks on the vehicle and ensuring that the vehicle it is kept clean and tidy.
Flexibility is essential in this role as there is a requirement to work additional hours as and when the business requires.
Due to the routes and delivery time slots drivers typically leave the premises between 11 pm and 2 am. Full training will be given to understand our various routes and product portfolios. This role involves driving nationally with London routes approximately 3 times a week.
Due to the company insurance policy, the successful candidate will be 30 years of age or over, hold a full driving license valid to drive in the UK with no driving disqualifications within the last 10 years. You will possess a basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, a good level of common sense and the ability to interact with people on all levels
Please note that this position may require heavy lifting, so physical fitness is important. Additionally, commercial driving experience is a plus.
