Van Driver

Salary: From £31,746 per year. Paid monthly. Overtime available.

Hours: 06:00-07:30 until 16:00-18:00 dependent on the volumes for the day. 50 hours per week guaranteed.

Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays

Location: Royton, Oldham

We are looking for a reliable and experienced van driver to join our team in Oldham.

The role:

• Pallet deliveries around the Huddersfield area
• Many deliveries will require use of tail lift and pump truck
• ePOD / Android app for Proof of Delivery (signatures, photos, notes)
• Daily walkaround defect checks on van
• Matching ePOD and paperwork to the pallets to ensure deliveries are made correctly
• Deliver calmly & safely, incl. tight access points
• Communicate professionally throughout the day with the office and customers as required

Requirements:

• Clean, full UK driving license
• 2+ years driving large vans commercially (LWB, XLWB, luton)
• High attention to detail – PODs, paperwork, vehicle checks
• Good communicator – clear, professional with office & customers
• Comfortable using ePOD and android devices

Nice to have:

• Experience with pallet networks
• Counterbalance forklift license
• tail lift + pump truck experience
