We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual. This role involves a combination of driving and warehouse responsibilities, ensuring timely delivery and efficient handling of goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all road regulations.
- Manage the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Navigate routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries to various locations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication regarding stock levels.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is desired but not essential, Over 21 with a valid UK driving licence over 2 years with less than 6 points (for insurance purposes)
- Experience in commercial driving or similar roles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks.
