*Job Summary*
We are seeking a reliable Van Driver/Drivers mate to join our team. The Van Driver will be responsible for transporting goods and materials between locations efficiently and safely.
*Work Schedule*
Monday to Thursday: 2 x two day routes, Load from Warminster on a Monday/Wednesday Morning at 06:00am, with an overnight hotel provided for. The overnights will be on a Monday and Wednesday night, but this could vary with a weeks notice.
Friday: Day route to be loaded on a Friday morning at 06:00am returning the van back to site on a Friday evening.
No weekends unless customer asks in advance. This role will include two long weekends a month, Friday-Sunday.
Christmas bonus.
Summer bonus.
*Responsibilities*
- Drive vans to transport boxed furniture, to customers.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members
- Unload goods from the van
- Perform deliveries in a timely manner
- Conduct routine checks on the van to ensure it is in good working condition
- Complete necessary paperwork for deliveries
*Experience*
- Proven experience as a Van Driver or Delivery Driver
- Ability to drive vans safely and responsibly
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations
- Capability to perform heavy lifting when required
- Previous experience working in a warehouse is advantageous
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,000.00 per year
