Job Description:
This is a temporary ongoing role for a Van B1 Driver with Millison Chase Limited working within our client’s depot,
As a Van B1 Driver you will be responsible for daily deliveries, ensuring the safe transportation of goods and maintaining accurate records of delivery schedules.
Shifts can be long but are in keeping with in law and legislation.
The job itself will consist of delivering various loads driving a long wheel base sprinter type or luton (curtain sided) van delivering to both businesses and homes on varied routes normally 1 to 25 drops.
There is handball on this job using a pallet or sack truck and tale lift (if driving a luton), some deliveries you will be with a driver's mate dependant on load.
Qualifications
- Valid UK Van B1 license
- Experience with daily deliveries and transportation of goods
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- No Penalty points allowed
- 1 year driving experience in a van for insurance Purposes
Pay
Days Mon to Fri £13.00 per hour
Nights Mon to Fri £14.00 per hour
Weekends £15.00 per hour
This is equivalent to between £14.57 & £18.49 pay when you factor in holiday pay
