We are looking for carers who can provide compassionate and personal care to clients who have complex needs such as trachestomy support, PEG, Cough assist, epilepsy. You will be supporting then in and around their own homes in the Sydenham SE26, Catford SE6, East Dulwich SE22 and Bermondsey SE1 area. 4-12 hour shifts will be weekdays and weekends. What we need from you:
- Experience in care
- A caring, empathetic and compassionate nature
- Dedication, commitment and reliability
- Some flexibility as you will be supporting people in their own homes
- Good written and spoken communication skills including fluency in English
- This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check
Experience of the following would be advantageous:
Complex care experience
Mechanical Hoist and sling
Stoma care
Peg Feeding
Nebuliser and Oral suction
Catheter care
Ventilation/ respiratory/ cough assist experience
Basic first aid
Nursing experience (desirable)
Tracheostomy care (desirable - training can be provided to the right candidate)
