We are looking for an experienced, hard working and reliable Cleaning Operative to come and join us at a school in Chelmsford! Immediate start required.
Please be aware you must have a current DBS check to apply for this position, or be willing to apply for one yourself that costs roughly £20.
Monday to Friday (term time)
15:30-18:00
Must drive or be able to travel to the venue via public transport
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms and communal areas
- Empty bins and replace liners as needed.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines diligently.
- Adhere to company policies and regulations for maintaining cleanliness standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping.
- Proficiency in cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to thorough task completion.
- Good time management skills to efficiently fulfil assigned duties within designated timeframes.
