Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. As a Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in assembling and creating high-quality products that meet our specifications and standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate welding equipment, including stick welding, to fabricate components according to design specifications.
- Utilise power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience using power tools and hand tools effectively.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Ability to assemble components accurately while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Previous experience in fabrication or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
