Overview of Acorn Village
Acorn Village, became established in the mid 1970’s due to the families of children with learning disabilities determination to build a brighter future for their loved ones as they became adults.
We offer high quality care and accommodation to adults with learning disabilities in a residential and supported living setting surrounded on a beautiful 14 acre site.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and write successful grant applications to suitable funders
- Work alongside the with Head of Communications and Income Generation to ensure all funding opportunities are maximised with a set target
- Develop and manage relationships with new and existing funders· Ensure funding partners receive timely and appropriate information about the progress and outcomes of projects
· Undertake all associated administrative tasks effectively and with accuracy alongside the ability to produce reports as and when required
· Ensure activities comply with current law, guidance and best practice of the Fundraising Regulator.
· Work cohesively with the Communications and Income Generation Team maintain professional boundaries and professionalism
· Comply with all Policies & Procedures
· Undertake any other reasonable task as requested

Job Types: Part time – 22.5 hours per week with flexibility - One Year Fixed Term Contract
Experience of at least one year as a trusts fundraiser /writing experience
