An opportunity has arisen for an Transport planner / office administrator to join our fast growing, successful company. This demanding but fulfilling role requires the successful candidate to be versatile to assist in the transport and accounts departments whilst answering the phones and performing general admin duties.
Duties can include but not limited to:
- Efficiently plan the delivery, exchange and collections of the various skip sizes throughout the local area using our fleet of hgv' s and drivers.
- To be able to communicate with our customers to ensure that schedules are met.
- To input data into our traffic management system when required
- Answering the phones, taking orders, payments and giving information / quotations to customers.
- Scanning and filing.
- Be able to learn quickly and work under own initiative.
- Have an adaptive approach to work.
- You will also be required to operate the weighbridge weighing vehicles in and out.
- Must possess an good understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Advantageous to have good knowledge of local area.
- Possess strong self-management, time management and personal organisation skills.
- Have a flexible approach and be energetic and committed.
- Any previous experience in transport industry or accounts departments advantageous.

Hours are:
8am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
8am - 1pm Saturday when required.
