Renowned for our exceptional customer service and operational excellence, and are now seeking two full-time Transport Planners to join their team at the Bolsover site.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced planners to play a key role in a fast-paced logistics environment, ensuring the effective coordination of transport operations while maintaining outstanding service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborative Planning: Work closely with drivers and office staff to coordinate daily logistics, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
- Operational Management: Plan and optimise routes, manage driver schedules, and oversee fleet utilisation to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with transport legislation, including driver hours, vehicle maintenance, and health & safety requirements.
- Client Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for client queries, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through clear and timely communication.
- Administrative Oversight: Manage reports, scheduling systems, and operational documentation to support performance tracking and continuous improvement.
- Problem Solving: Respond promptly to unforeseen issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maintaining service standards.
Salary & Benefits:

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in the transport or logistics industry
- Proven experience in transport planning is essential
- Strong understanding of transport regulations and fleet compliance
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- High level of IT proficiency (TMS, Microsoft Office, routing/scheduling tools)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure
- Reliable team player with a proactive and professional approach
