We are looking for an experienced Transport Planner that can fit in with the team and assist the team to plan 70 + vehicles and trailers in the day to day running of our business.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The job will involve but not limited to,
· Day to day routing of the vehicles
· Monitoring Drivers hours and Regulations to fulfil compliance.
· Briefing and De-Briefing of drivers Daily
· Liaising with Customers and booking jobs as required
· Taking calls and emails throughout the shift
· Being the point of contact for drivers and briefing them on their next job
· Being responsible for checking the driver’s daily vehicle checks for defects and reporting to the workshop team.
· Resolve any Transport related Issues or delays.
· Coordinating and Utilising Trucks to ensure good return per vehicle.
· Building Drivers run sheets ready for next day.
· Building the plan of the next day using live Google sheets
· Checking Yard daily for trailer locations and updating Google sheet
Key Attributes:
· Experienced Transport Planner with Full UK Knowledge
· Being able to work off own initiative.
· Able to think and act in a quick and decisive manner.
· Reliable and Flexible approach to meet company needs.
· Clear and Effective Communication skills
· IT Literate, competent in Microsoft Packages
· Self-Motivated with Flexibility to work as a team.
· Attention to detail.
· Organised with the ability to Prioritise and Multi-task.
Working Week:
Friday to Tuesday 09:00 - 19:00
We are open to reviewing alternative working patterns for the right candidate.

Salary: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
