Summary
We are seeking a Transport Operative to join our dynamic team at JDC Transport. This role is essential in supporting our logistics operations and ensuring smooth communication across departments. The ideal candidate will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional transport services.
Responsibilities
- Assist and managing logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Communicate effectively with drivers
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory using office software.
- Unloading and loading of vehicles with Fork Lift.
- Scanning & labelling of pallets as dispatched.
- General upkeep of yard & forklift.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in logistics or supply chain is preferred but not required.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
- Class 2 license, candidate will be expected to make collections and deliveries as required.
- Fork lift experience required, refresher training can be done in house.
