We currently have an exciting role for a Transport Administrator providing an excellent opportunity to join the Maxpack team at our Shrewsbury site. The role is Monday – Friday 08:30 to 18:00.
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Distribution Manager this role is responsible for ensuring customer requirements are met and company policies and procedures are followed.
- The preparation of documents
- Liaising with Customer and Sub-Contractors
- Booking vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Producing daily reports on ongoing issues and service levels
- Conduct end of day Driver Debriefs
- To maintain accurate records
- To carry out general office duties.
What we are looking for:
- At Least 2 years’ office or administration experience.
- Experience within the transport industrial would be preferred
- Good working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Excellent relationship building and customer facing skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously
- Ability to listen to and follow instructions.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good numeracy and literacy.
