We are seeking a motivated person to join our team as a Trainee Project Coordinator.
The role will be to support the Contracts Managers and site teams in the planning, procurement, and execution of projects.
This role is integral to ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Training and support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities (for a Project Coordinator)
Project Planning and Execution:
- Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure that projects progress according to plan and promptly address any deviations that may occur.
Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Prepare and deliver project status reports to managers.
- Facilitate effective communication between project teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
Materials and Deliveries:
- Place material orders in line with project requirements and delivery dates.
- Coordinate with Contracts Managers and site teams to align materials delivery with project schedules.
Administrative Support:
- Manage project schedules and manage administrative tasks.
- Support procurement of materials and services to meet project needs.
Resource Management:
- Track and manage project resources, including plant, crane lifts, subcontractors, and other resources.
Conflict Resolution and Risk Management:
- Proactively identify and resolve issues with suppliers.
- Manage risks related to delivery and supplier performance.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, team members, and the design team to ensure project success.
Skills required.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
