Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that machinery operates efficiently and effectively. This position requires a hard working individual with the confidence to learn. The Machine Operator will work closely with other team members to maintain high standards of quality and safety in the production environment. On site training will be given to the successful applicant.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance during production runs.
- Assemble parts and products, utilising hand tools and machinery effectively.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure safety compliance.
- Handle materials appropriately, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to tooling or machinery operation.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe working environment for all employees.
Skills
- Basic maths skills are essential for measuring, calculating dimensions, and accuracy in production tasks.
- Problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting machinery issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £7.55-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
