Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our Freeman & Rosser Dental & Implant Clinic in Carmarthen.
No previous dental experience is needed for this role, however if you have some experience this would be beneficial. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being, are passionate about delivering great service, and looking for a career where you can learn, grow and develop, then this could be a perfect fit for you.
- Full-time hours - 40 hours over 5 days Monday to Friday
- Typical shifts are 8.15am-5pm, with flexibility to work one later evening
- Training supported by our highly experienced team - your course will be overseen by an external course provider and is fully funded by PortmanDentex
Freeman & Rosser Dental & Implant Clinic is situated in a beautiful Welsh market town, Carmarthen. The practice has a high reputation amongst the community due to the outstanding team of leading dental clinicians and colleagues, who have been providing high quality patient care in Carmarthenshire for over 35 years. Freeman & Rosser Dental & Implant Clinic is a 4 surgery Private only Practice, providing General Dental and Implant services.
About you
We welcome your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are preferred to undertake the course
- Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care
- Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
- Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures
