We are looking for a skilled and experienced towbar fitter to join our team at Towbar2U. We are currently operating in several UK regions but we are looking to expand our coverage and welcome applications from anywhere in the UK.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with extensive experience and a proven track record of fitting towbars. The job is mobile and you will be provided with a company van, so would need to be confident working independently. The working hours are Monday to Friday.

What we’re looking for:
- Experience as a towbar fitter
- Full UK driving license
- A knowledge of motor vehicles either from previous work or personal interests
- Able to work on own initiative
- Able to work under pressure during the busy season
Job description:
- Work alongside office teams and other fitters to complete jobs to a high standard
- Fit both vehicle specific wiring kits and universal wiring
- Take care of customer vehicles and carry out jobs with utmost precision and accuracy
- Diagnose and identify faults and problems with towbars and wiring
- Provide an exceptional level of customer service to all Towbar2U clients and prospective clients
- Travel between jobs and complete 2-3 towbar fittings per day
- Assist other fitters where required, for example a big job
- Estimate timeframes for completing jobs
- Remain organised and ensure correct parts are taken out to jobs
- Keep the van tidy and carry out regular stock checks
