The Tools, Solution & Data Architect plays a pivotal role in bridging business objectives with fit-for-purpose technology and data solutions that support the long-term strategic goals of VMO2 and Mobile Access Engineering. This role is responsible for shaping end-to-end business and data solutions, ensuring alignment with architecture principles, operational needs, and transformation objectives. 

Acting as a strategic connector across business, data, and technology domains, the role ensures that solutions are scalable, data-driven, and support efficient decision-making, while also embedding governance, quality, and compliance across the architecture landscape.

• Deep knowledge of technology, business and data architecture principles, frameworks and standards
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities that can be fully utilised to capture requirements and stakeholder requests.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influence across business, data, and IT domains
• Strong communication and storytelling skills to articulate complex technical ideas in a business and engineering context
• Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery
• Ability to lead and collaborate in a matrixed organisation with multiple stakeholders

• Deep experience in engineering, business, solution or data architecture roles in large-scale organisations
• Experience working across the full architecture lifecycle: discovery, design, governance, assurance, delivery
• Demonstratable experience in mobile telecoms, technology, or regulated environments
