About the Team The e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated. We are looking for a Global Strategic Brand Partnerships Director to join our Global E-Commerce Key Accounts and Partnerships Team. The team will play a critical role in establishing and leading strategic e-Commerce partnerships between TikTok and the world's top-tier brands. The Global Strategic Brand Partnerships Director will own and nurture C-level and senior brand-side relationships, and partner closely with TikTok Shop country teams to drive sales together. The team will act as the strategic ambassador responsible for building TikTok's reputation and e-commerce sales for top-tier global brands. The ideal candidate is very familiar with global accounts' senior management, proficient in high-level strategic thinking, and deeply passionate about problem-solving and business growth enablement. This role requires the ability to work across different time zones and cultures and bring a philosophy of client-centricity to the role both internally and externally. The successful candidate is a builder, intellectually curious, creative, entrepreneurial, resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, strong in strategic thinking, and has deep experience leading through influence. Responsibilities - GKA services and expansion: Recruit and nurture long-term relationships with top global brands (e.g. L'Oreal, Nestle, Unilever, P&G, Samgsung, etc.); build and shape the vision, brand mapping, global strategy, approach, coordination, solutions planning, and success metrics; - Planning & Execution: Produce GKA-based, GMV-oriented solutions; participate in the process design and execution; support the implementation to ensure the completion of the objectives; summarize the conclusions and know-hows into tangible documents, PowerPoint, and mind maps; - Analyzing business settings & objectives: Responsible for GKA's seller experience, identifying areas of improvement in products and services based on data and user feedback; driving the optimization of products and services by building apt mechanisms and standard processes; Familiar with approaches and policies in e-commerce; provide robust support for business owners to dissect business objectives, sort out priorities, and monitor project progress; analyze the output and efficiency of projects through in-depth analyses and able to produce results; - Build communication mechanisms: Sustain close communication and alignment with clients and internal counterparts to maximize client strategies, engender trust and ensure smooth landing of collaborative projects. Regularly consult with country Account Managers to enhance brand performance and engagement.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree and above; 5 years+ work experience; Proven experience working in global brands, agencies, and/or eCommerce platform's key accounts solutions; - Strong capabilities in relationship building; Able to produce effective presentations and influence clients; - Have a solid understanding of social/livestream e-commerce and content marketing; - Willingness to travel abroad for business. Preferred Qualifications - Proven direct working experience in a top global brand is a plus; - International work experience is a plus.
