Salary: £26,000-£29,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, including occasional unsociable working (part time hours considered)

At Willen Hospice, we believe in living well until the very end. Our multidisciplinary team delivers compassionate, specialist care to patients and families navigating life-limiting illness.
We are excited to offer a new role for a self-motivated Therapy Assistant to join our therapy services and help make every moment count.
As a Therapy Assistant Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality therapy services within an inpatient and community setting.
Working closely with our Therapeutic and Nursing teams, you will help patients maximise their independence, dignity and comfort.
What You’ll Do:
✅ Support the delivery of therapeutic and rehabilitative care, managing a delegated caseload
✅ Undertake patient assessments, implementing and evaluating therapeutic interventions, and supporting discharge planning.
✅ Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to service development.
✅ Provide emotional support to patients and their families with compassion and sensitivity.
What You’ll Need:
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- Relevant experience of working as a Therapy Assistant or Clinical Support Worker
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of managing own caseload
- Show empathy, compassion, and a commitment to high standards of care

We offer 24 hour / seven days a week palliative care to people who have advanced disease, caring for people in our Inpatient Unit which accommodates 15 patients and the local community. We have an expanding Therapeutic & Wellbeing service offering Psychological Wellbeing, Social Care, Physiotherapy, Occupational and Complementary Therapy.
