Job Description
This role is an 18 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC).
You will be supporting in the testing and documentation of bespoke, Rotork developed toolsets to assist in the accelerated rollout of the MS Dynamics 365 solution.
You will be working with the team in the development of the future infrastructure of product configurators to handle a wide range of complex products and system integrations across the Rotork group. You will be developing toolsets using a range of different technologies to continuously develop and improve complex configurator models, their ongoing maintenance, architecture, and efficient operation. You will be responsible for working with the Engineering Services team to ensure the transition and adoption of D365 effectively by:
- Producing and performing test plans to test new functionality.
- Testing the resolution of bugs.
- Creating automated tests where appropriate.
- Documenting tests and results
- Documenting tested functionality
- Testing a mixture of Microsoft toolsets, bespoke software and other software packages to give pass/fail results and raising bugs to pass back to development teams.
You will need to be technically orientated, process minded, disciplined and proactive to ensure the successful migration and adoption of D365 globally by the Engineering teams and business.
Main Responsibilities:
- Writing and executing test scripts.
- Running manual and automated tests.
- Writing bug reports.
- Documenting and reviewing new features and functionality.
- Working in an agile methodology to test features within a given timeframe.
- Working with the Engineering services team to ensure developed functionality works correctly to the requirement.
- Linking the test plan and results to Azure features and closing out tasks where appropriate.
- Carrying out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing and scalability testing.
- Working with the development team to assess code.
- Providing quality assurance to the team and business.
- Providing objective feedback to the software development team.
- Presenting findings to software development and business user teams.

Qualifications
- Experience in multiple programming languages including C#, SQL, Json, Node.js, React, Typescript, Javascript and Next.js.
- Experience working in a product manufacturing business.
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience in Microsoft platforms such as Azure, Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Higher level education or relevant experience, in an engineering or science discipline preferable.
- Use of the Microsoft toolset - for technical documentation.
- Willingness to travel.
