Wilfrid Whittingtons is the UKs largest florist sundry wholesaler. We are based at 16 locations nationwide, remain family run, and are very proud of our reputation as a florist supplier of choice.
We are now looking for a part-time customer service focused person, preferably with some floristry / customer service experience to join our friendly team at our Nottingham branch (based at Victoria Parkway, Netherfield) on a temporary contract. This is to cover a busy period before its closure on 24 December 2025.
Full training will be provided where necessary but the following skills are beneficial to this position
- Experience or a keen interest in floral and craft products
- Good numerical skills
- Customer service skills / experience
- Sound knowledge of computerised tills (though training can be provided)
- Retail experience an advantage but not essential
- Can work on own initiative
- Some lifting will be required
- Verbal communication skills essential
Hours are Tuesday and Friday 9am - 5pm. Occasional holiday cover may also be expected.
Fixed term contract to end on 24 December 2025.
Rate of Pay - minimum wage
