Housekeeping Club is a well-established local cleaning company providing top-quality cleaning services across Cumbria and North Lancashire. We're currently looking for reliable and motivated cleaners to join our team cleaning Holiday lets in the Newby Bridge area.
Schedule:
- Flexible hours: Ideal for school drop-offs and pick-ups
- Work just 1 or 2 days a week (Monday and/or Friday)
- Shifts: 9:00am to 4:30pm (but we can adapt this if you need to finish earlier)
- Transport from Kendal can be provided
- Supportive team environment
- All training provided — no experience necessary!
- Competitive rate of pay, £12.50 per hour
- Fixed term contract until 31/10/25
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning tasks, including but not limited to making beds, hoovering, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with supplies.
- Dispose of rubbish and recyclables.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and management to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in cleaning preferred but not a must-have.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift/move heavy objects.
