Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a good background in IT support and customer service, with the ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring that our users receive timely assistance and solutions to their technical problems, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
Duties
- Provide exceptional technical support to users via the telephone, email and using Teamviewer, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our hardware, and software across the product range. This includes Sat Nav's, Dash Cams and Speed Camera Detection.
- Although Part Time the applicant would be required to cover Vacation periods of other staff so there will be weeks when the position is full time.
- There will be an element of order processing on occasion.
Experience
- Proven experience in a technical support role or similar position is highly desirable but not essential.
- An understanding of troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS) and software applications including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being capable of working independently when required.
- An incredible telephone manner with great patience and understanding.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
