Pre-Sales
  • Prepare regional, industry or client specific adaptations of the standard demonstration material as required by the regional Sales Manager.
  • Demonstrate the products to prospects via web-based or in-person presentations.
  • Handle technical discussions with prospects regarding product features and usage.
  • Provide subject matter and technical input for inclusion in e-mails, proposal documents and the like regarding product features and usage.
  • Undertake introductory or follow-up calls to clients who have chosen a rental option prior to purchase.
Post Sales
  • Provide advice to clients to assist them to implement the software.
  • Maintain periodic client calls in accordance with company procedures.
  • Conduct web-based, telephone and in-person meetings at the request of the regional Sales Manager.
  • Document and refer client requests for preparation of templates and example material to the regional Sales Manager.
  • Create client specific templates and example material for clients at the request of the regional Sales Manager.
Training
  • Deliver web-based and in-person company standard training sessions at the request of the regional Sales Manager.
  • Prepare and deliver bespoke training material at the request of the regional Sales Manager.
  • Liaise with clients and training centres to ensure that adequate hardware, training resources and software licences are available as necessary.
  • Arrange post-training follow up e-mails with training certificates.
Support
  • Attend to incoming support cases in accordance with the company procedures.
  • Document and report client issues with all relevant copies of drawings, files and screenshots, etc. in accordance with company procedures.
Product Development
  • Provide industry knowledge to assist in the development of the products.
  • Ascertain industry requirements for the products and suggest proposed feature requests accordingly.
  • Review client suggested feature requests; liaise with the client as necessary; document details of the feature requests and report to the Development Team. in accordance with company procedures.
  • Undertake testing of pre-release versions of the software as and when required, and document and provide details of any bugs / issues to the Development Team in accordance with company procedures.
Marketing
  • Assist the Sales & Marketing Team with material, including but not limited to videos, webinars, blogs and images.
  • Assist in determining competitor software’s capabilities.
  • Attend and present at web-based and in-person industry meetings, conferences and seminars.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions and the like to demonstrate and promote the products.
  • Deliver lectures, presentations and training for universities or other education establishments.
  • Participate in the local BIM research committee where possible.
Documentation
  • Prepare and maintain documentation such as user manuals, training exercises and their associated dataset material, process flowcharts and the like.
  • Review and provide feedback on documentation prepared by others.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify areas for improvement beyond the daily scope of this role
  • Participate in Product Solutions Group initiatives at the request of the Product Solutions Director.
  • Provide guidance to aid the career development of Consultants in the region.
WHS Responsibilities
  • Ensure personal adherence to the company’s workplace health and safety requirements
  • Take responsibility for own personal health and safety
  • Actively participate in ensuring a safe work environment for all (fellow workers & others)
