Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our dynamic team. As a Team Member at Mail Boxes Etc. Norwich, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service across a range of business and personal support services – including packing & shipping, printing, mailbox rentals, and more. You'll assist customers in-store, by phone, and via email, while helping with day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and professional service.
Duties
- Greet and assist customers with printing, shipping, packaging, and mailbox services.
- Process shipments with carriers such as DHL, UPS, FedEx, and Royal Mail.
- Prepare custom packaging solutions for various items including fragile goods.
- Operate printing and finishing equipment (e.g., copiers, laminators, binders, etc.).
- Handle cash, card payments, and maintain accurate sales records.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering packaging or office supplies.
- Ensure the shop floor is tidy, well-presented, and stocked at all times.
- Support with mailbox management (mail sorting, notifications, forwarding).
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable advice on services to walk-in and phone customers.
Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, excel, Google sheet, email, internet).
- Comfortable working with printers, scanners, and POS systems (training provided).
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work as part of a small team in a busy environment.
