Responsibilities Day-to-Day
- To act in the lead role as a Team Leader Residential Childcare Worker, providing care, welfare, safety and security to individuals.
- To support young people with structure and boundaries.
- To work on behalf of the young persons to educate and provide positive advice with any aspect of their health care requirements and consult with health care professionals where appropriate.
- To be aware of and comply with the statutory requirements and all the company’s policies and procedures including those of outdoor activities.
- To maintain a high level of recording and report writing.
Requirements
- Driving licence
- Level 3 qualification or above in Residential Childcare
- Knowledge of children’s home regulation 2015
- Experience of working in residential childcare provisions (ages 8-17)
