Team Leader, Winton Family Nursery
About the role
At Salford Family Nurseries we have 5 fantastic settings which are based at Barton Moss, Belvedere, Little Hulton, Higher Broughton and Winton. Please note that the exact work location will be decided at a later stage.
We are looking for a highly dedicated individual who is looking for the opportunity to be our Team Leader based at our Higher Broughton Family Nursery.
This role would suit a natural leader that possesses excellent time management and people skills. Is highly motivated, organised, enthusiastic and creative person, who can think on their feet, stay calm, have a sense of humour, and lead the room team on a day-to-day basis ensuring the Nursery Curriculum goals are being met. Have a good knowledge /experience and passion for working with children with SEND. Hold a professional relevant qualification in Childcare or Education equivalent to Level 3 with a minimum of 2yrs post qualifying experience.
You will work under the direction of the Manager and Deputy Nursery Manager. You will be the named person with designated responsibility in compliance with OFSTED regulations in the absence of the manager/deputy manager
We work a 36 hr week on a shift pattern between the hours of 08:00 -18:00
You will receive a full and comprehensive induction across all our sites along with access to the Starting Life Well training programme through which you will be supported to achieve a Paediatric First Aid Qualification within three months of starting with us. Although day to day you will be based in one of our nurseries, please bear in mind that, occasionally, based on business needs, you may be asked to provide cover at one of the other 5 LA nurseries.

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check currently £49.50. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £12.38 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £49.50.
