Due to ongoing growth, we now have the exiting opportunity to recruit a Warehouse Team Leader to join our GXO team in busy multiuser site at Sherburn-In-Elmet. You’ll provide leadership and guidance for your warehouse team, ensuring that the team have all the tools they need to do their tasks, and that the operation runs smoothly.
This is a full-time, permanent role, with a shift pattern 4 on 4 off, 7am to 7pm

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £29,000 per annum and 23 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Team management; developing, leading and motivating your people to achieve challenging operational KPIs
- You’ll lead the team on health & safety, showing good working practices, as you’ll be responsible for keeping all our operational processes fully compliant whilst keeping your people safe
- You’ll actively manage your available resource, and utilise staff where possible
- Maintain a constant presence within the warehouse delivering shift briefs and preparing handovers
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced operation of FMCG, automation and multi-channel
- Experience of working to agreed targets and managing a small team
- Well-versed in warehouse management systems
- Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation
