Essential Criteria:
- Driver with full UK Driving License
- Attained or working towards L2 H&S Care and willingness to progress to L3.
- Ability and confidence to work directly with adults with autism who may communicate needs through behaviours that challenge
- Practical knowledge and experience of Positive Behaviour Support and Active Support Models of care.
- Experience of medication administration
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals and internal colleagues at all levels
- Demonstratable excellence in verbal and written communication with an understanding of Total Communication techniques
- Desire to improve outcomes for adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism

We are Fairpark Care, a new health and social care provider, offering a range of care and support services to individuals with a Learning Disability and other Neurodevelopmental Disorders, including Autism.
We are seeking to recruit talented individuals to the role of Team Leader; people with the right values, skills and behaviours to work in our residential care service for adults with Autism in Wrexham, North Wales.

The successful candidate/s will join the leadership team at Beechley Road in supporting our goals to deliver the highest standards of care and support those to reside in our care.
The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. Leading a friendly and supportive team you will help individuals to meet their daily needs and wishes in line with their short- and long-term needs and aspirations.
General duties include; shift coordination, supervision and support to colleagues, leading on Key Worker group management, care and risk planning, health & safety responsibilities, staff recruitment and retention and audit and governance duties. There is also an expectation that the successful candidates will be Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) Champions.
The successful candidate/s will be provided with ongoing support and personal development to assist them to be successful in role and ultimately make a meaningful difference to the quality of life for those in our care.
