Salary: Teaching Assistant NJC Grade 4 Point 5 £24,790 pro rata; Midday Meals Supervisor NJC Grade 2 Point 2 £23,656 pro rata
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern:Teaching Assistant Term Time plus 5 inset days 8.00am to 12.00pm and 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Midday Meals Supervisor Term Time only 12.00pm to 1.00pm

We are looking for someone who:
- has a passion and understanding of the needs of our youngest pupils at Eastergate
- is able to nurture and support children when they start school
- has an understanding of the early years curriculum
- has lots of energy, enthusiasm and is able to make learning fun and engaging
- will work enthusiastically with other members of the team
- is able to work with children’s parents and carers to ensure there is good communication between home and school
- who is ambitious in wanting our children get the best start to school possible
- is able to support our school’s vision and values
- wants to grow and develop their own practice and skills
The post involves supporting all pupils in EYFS, delivering phonics and interventions (training will be given) and supervising children at lunchtime. The roll with include supporting pupils with SEND, including vulnerable pupils, to enable them to effectively access the curriculum and make the best possible start to their journey at Eastergate. A positive, flexible and friendly outlook is essential to working in our school. We need a team player who is passionate about playing a role in school life.
