We're very excited to be hiring for the position of Salon Receptionist & Manager.
We are seeking a mature individual with exceptional energy and enthusiasm, along with a willingness to learn and adapt in a well established, friendly salon environment.
This role encompasses the responsibilities of a receptionist, along with additional duties and a higher level of responsibility. This includes maintaining stock levels and staying on top of current promotions.
The ideal candidate thrives in face-to-face interactions with clients, demonstrates confidence both in team settings and independently, and is capable of serving as the main point of contact for a small team of 3-4 employees. This individual should be adept at multitasking, skilled in upselling, and willing to cover additional hours when necessary.
Ideally someone relatively flexible with the possibility of picking up extra hours, weekends, holidays and with short notice. An opportunity to take on full time hours varying from a week to two months is possible.
Extra hours will be available including longer periods of full time hours

Rota Hours
1/2 week days 10-8pm
Every Sunday 10am-4pm OR Saturday 10am-6pm
It is essential you have good flexibility for taking on extra hours (weekdays and weekends)
There will be an opportunity to take on full time hours over a 1-2 month period over the next 6 months.
Opening Hours
Mon-Fri 10am-8pm
Saturdays 10am-6pm
Sunday 10am-4pm
Job role includes
Opening and closing of the salon depending on shift pattern
Greeting Customers with friendly conversation
Creating and strengthening a professional relationship with clients
Upselling tanning products, sunbed courses and beauty treatments on behalf of our beauticians (commission to be made)
Taking phone bookings for Sunbeds and treatments
Communicating back and forth with the beauticians confirming appointments
Time management and multi tasking between clients appointments for sunbeds, nails, Botox, filler, spray tans, lashes, microblading, lash extensions, threading etc
Cleaning and tiding the salon to a high standard during shift
Working alone on reception excluding times when the beauticians has bookings
Taking cash and card payments
Cashing up
Ordering and managing stock
Running odd errands for stock & change
Requirements

Experienced & Confident in Sales, Upselling

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
